INTRODUCTION
Ex-d flame arrestors are suitable for installation in industrial plants with potentially hazardous atmosphere classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2 for gases and Zone 21 and Zone 22 for combustible dusts.
Flame arrestors are safety devices whose purpose is to prevent flame propagation inside process lines to avoid ignition. It provide connection of tubing systems for electro/pneumatic and gas/liquid analysis devices.
Pressure switches, moisture analysers, gas analysers/sensors are typical applications.
